PAD and business processes testing

PAD allows us to create automated workflows that interact with diverse applications, including web applications. These workflows are designed to execute tasks and validate the user interface, making them particularly valuable for testing Power Apps. Since Power Apps can consist of both model-driven and canvas apps, PAD serves as an additional tool for covering certain parts of end-to-end business processes, similar to a model-driven application.

UI automation with PAD

PAD provides a comprehensive set of UI automation actions specifically designed for interacting with web applications. While we won’t extensively cover all the functionalities of PAD, we will outline some of the available actions that are relevant to our purposes, particularly those related to browser interaction.
