Evolution of Power Apps test automation pipelines with PAC CLI and Test Engine

Microsoft Power Platform CLI (PAC CLI) is a potent and comprehensive command-line interface designed to provide developers with the means to perform a wide array of operations within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This tool simplifies tasks related to environment life cycle management, authentication, and Microsoft Dataverse environments, among others. With Power Platform CLI, developers can automate tasks, tailor their development processes, and incorporate this tool into their existing workflows, thereby streamlining the development experience.

At the time of writing this book, Microsoft has rolled out a new version of PAC CLI (the current version being 1.26.5+g670cdf9) that includes a preview feature that is highly relevant to this book.

This feature is the pac tests run command (refer to the Microsoft documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/developer/cli/reference...
