Exploring the Power Apps testing automation tools matrix

So far in this chapter, we have shared available best practices and tools for better debugging your app and resolving issues that are found while you develop and check the app for your users. Those recommendations are used throughout the entire ALM process, as presented in Chapter 1, to streamline the testing process. These are presented in Table 2.3. The different tools are classified to guide you on when and why to use each based on your expertise and the state of the app:

We’ve reviewed some of these tools in this chapter; we will discuss the rest of them in upcoming chapters and dive deeper into many of them, specifically Test Studio and Test Engine.

Table 2.3 – Testing automation tools matrix

The matrix includes four different attributes for each tool:
