Creating Django views

The admin UI is pretty magical, but it is really only designed to create simple screens for managing data in a database. Sooner or later, you’re going to have to actually make some real screens for the app itself.

We need to be careful about terminology here because the word views doesn’t mean what you might expect if you are versed in more conventional web development design patterns. The prevailing industry pattern is called Model-View-Controller (MVC). The pattern employed by Django is called Model-View-Template (MVT). View doesn’t mean the same thing between the two patterns.
