Chapter 2. Designing Your App

The HoloLens is a great device. Everyone who puts it on is amazed. I always ensure that I explain how to use the device in detail before I allow people to put it on--the moment they wear it, they stop listening and are in awe of the experience.

Of course, once the initial wonder of seeing things float in mid-air in front of them wears off, they want to use apps and the experience should match the first moment of magic. Therefore, we need to ensure that our apps are just as good and deliver on that promise. To do that, we have to know how to design for the HoloLens.
