Full-Stack React, TypeScript, and Node - Second Edition
By :
If this book had been written a few years ago, the previous chapter probably would have been the last. But now we have a new reality: LLMs. Deploying a full-stack application with monitoring and observability would have been a satisfying ending. The world has changed. Large language models have become a practical tool in many developers' workflows, and a new term, "vibe coding," describes the practice of throwing a description at an LLM and accepting whatever code comes back.
We're not going to have a philosophical debate about AI in this chapter. What we are going to do is something practical. We'll take the entire project we built across Chapters 8 through 14 and rebuild it from scratch using an LLM coding agent. Every Express route, every Prisma model, every React component, every Dockerfile, every OpenTelemetry configuration. All of it, driven by prompts instead of manual typing.
