The bottom buttons


At the bottom of Celtx's main window, the script window (except when working on a Storyboard) is a row of buttons, as shown in the following screenshot (we've covered all of these already, but a quick review is always good):

  • The Script tab or button returns us to the script in progress from any of the other tabs.

  • TypeSet/PDF generates a final script (looks like the next screen) ready to be saved as a PDF file and sent to the market or used in a production you or your company is doing. Full details on this process are in the Getting the script out of your computer section in Chapter 2.

  • Of the other four tabs, Title Page helps us construct a title page for our script and the remaining three—Scratchpad, Index Cards, and Reports—are assistants to enhance writing and producing scripts. All are also covered in Chapter 2.
