Articulate Quizmaker is an application for creating Flash-based quizzes, assessments, and even training courses. Unlike Presenter, Quizmaker is a standalone application, which can be used either independently or in conjunction with Presenter. This product does not require PowerPoint or Presenter to function. However, quizzes created in Quizmaker can be easily imported into Presenter.

Although the focus of this program is to create quizzes and assessments, it is possible to create entire courses purely in Quizmaker, without the use of Presenter or any of the other programs in the Articulate suite.

To open Quizmaker, you need to click on the icon on your desktop or program menu. This will open the program and a welcome dialog box. The box that will appear gives you three basic choices, as follows:

  • Create a new quiz

  • New from quiz template

  • Open a recent quiz
