Adding audio to a slide


With all the concerns about literacy in the workplace, trainers need to create materials that can easily be used by workers with special requirements such as visual impairments or physical challenges. This also aids the visually impaired or those who have English as a second language. Quizmaker takes this into account, providing a way of narrating the questions and answer choices on every slide.

Getting ready

You will need a slide with a question on it to add your narrations to. You will need a microphone attached to your computer in order to record the narrations. A good quality microphone does make a difference as the sound quality will be better. Ideally, you want the microphone to be 3 to 6 inches in front of your mouth. This will vary if you are using a headset.
