Managing Alfresco using the Admin Console in Alfresco Share


Now, you can manage the administration operations using the Admin Console, which is a browser-based console. You can manage users and groups, e-mails, filesystems, categories, tags, social content publishing, activity feeds, replication jobs, workflows, deleted files, the Alfresco license, and search. The other things that you can do from the Admin Console are Integrating with Google Docs and search content and its properties using the Node Browser.

The Admin Console is visible to only an admin or a user who is a member of the ALFRESCO_ADMINISTRATORS group.

On the toolbar, expand the +More menu, and then click any of the admin tools or More in the Admin Tools… section. The Admin Console opens up.

Using the Users tool, you can create, edit, delete, and disable user accounts, change user passwords, search user accounts, and manage a user's group membership.
