One of the best ways to get acquainted with Camtasia Studio is to look at existing Camtasia projects. There is a sample Camtasia project to which you have immediate access—the sample project included with this book.

I have created a sample Camtasia project for you to accompany the exercises in this book: Using CuePrompter. When you are done with this chapter, if your timeline looks anything like the sample one, you did well. Open the project and review it by clicking on the Play button below the preview window. As it plays, watch the items pass by on the screen and on the timeline. You will begin to see relationships between what appears on the timeline and what you are seeing in the preview window.
