Troux Standards


The previous sections provided an overview into IT Governance and explained what committees are needed to manage governance. Governance-oriented functions such as the IT Steering Committee and the ARB will only be successful if there are IT standards set for the enterprise. IT standards provide the framework for employees to design solutions that fit into the overall technical ecosystem of the company. The Troux Standards module is a useful tool to help EA and the ARB manage behaviors across a large organization. Armed with information about what is installed, EA and the ARB can coordinate change and reduce what would otherwise be the chaotic development of new solutions.
