Power Automate connectors

We’ve learned about one of the key components of Power Automate: triggers. Triggers are the actions that start a flow. Now, we’re going to learn about connectors, which are the “boxes” that will let us connect to services and use them in our Power Automate flows.

We can think of these connectors, displayed as boxes in the UI, as wrappers around each of the services’ APIs that allow users to easily access the APIs in a low-code manner. These boxes are the bridges between the Power Automate platform and other services, regardless of whether they are Microsoft services or third-party services. At the moment of writing this book, there are over 1,000 connectors available, which allow the creation of integrations with a diverse set of services. These services go from Microsoft productivity tools such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Teams to other services such as Salesforce, Google services, and many more.
