The Provance Data Management Pack (DMP) uses a robust engine to simplify and automate the process of quickly getting data into and out of the Service Manager CMDB, while simultaneously improving data consistency and accuracy. The DMP has an easy-to-use graphical interface, making it simple to automate data import from files, databases, and your Active Directory domains, without coding or extensive knowledge of the CMDB structure. Depending on what it discovers during the import, the DMP may either update existing CIs with new data or create new objects. If the source data contains relationships, then they are maintained within the new objects. Related objects can also be created as part of the import.
Provance Bar Code is a mobile asset scanning software suite. With a minimum of data entry it gives you the freedom to receive new assets and to perform ad-hoc audits whenever you prefer. Use its simple three-task menu to receive new assets, track the movement of existing assets, and verify asset characteristics.
Provance Bar Code is integrated with System Center 2012 Service Manager, and hence Provance IT Asset Management, through a web service and a Service Manager connector.
