We have now covered the major components that need to be estimated for your Connect implementation. With these computed numbers, you should have a solid representation that can be added to your project plan for financial approval. Although there will be some variability with the numbers, this is expected. As we discussed before, a significant paradigm shift from on-premises conventional technology and the cloud's pay-as-you-go model. However, by reading this chapter, you should have the knowledge required to instill confidence in the financial forecast.

Now that we have the costs completed, the next phase of the process is to establish your Connect instance. In Chapter 5, Base Connect Implementation, we will cover the initial deployment of Connect along with any AWS account prerequisites to enable connectivity and administration.
