Creating burndown charts

A burndown chart graphs the amount of work that's been performed against a project over time and subtracts this value from the total amount of work for the entire project. This allows project managers to gather a general sense of whether enough work is being performed on the project to meet expected deadlines, and of the overall amount of work that's left to do on the project.
