Following are recommendations I am making based upon my experience in conducting business solution modeling for my customers.
It is vital that the business users participating in the business modeling sessions have a solid understanding of their existing business model — especially when it comes to variations in business processes. However, it is not practical to bring in every business expert to speak on every unique business scenario that may occur in the business today. It is extremely important for business personnel on the project team to proactively reach out to the individual business experts in order to identify business scenarios and their variations.
