Setting the scene


For this lighting lesson we are going to use a set created by Jack Tomalin, called The Throne of the Skeleton King. Jack has graciously provided the set to be included for free for all the readers of this book. You can find the ZIP file containing the set in the project files for this book. It's the file called TSK.zip in the 3DAssets directory.

Jack is one of the top developers of content for DAZ Studio and Poser, with a vast assortment of exotic and elaborate environments. I invite you to visit his website, www.jacktomalin.com to find more environments that can be used to expand your Runtime.

This set leads itself to very dramatic lighting. Let's first add it to our scene and then add a figure. I'm using V4 with a great armor outfit, the Historical Armor by Arien, to which I applied the Sisterhood of the Sword texture package.
