The following advanced workshop questions discuss additional features and solutions that can be considered as part of the sales management integration solution. Evaluate whether you should add the ability to view customer inventory and price list information in CRM.

A common CRM integrated use case is to be able to do a price check or an inventory check on ERP items. In our sales management integration, there is an indirect way of doing this use case, which is to create a quote. The quote will give the correct price for an item and will also inform the user whether the inventory is available.

An alternative solution is to build screens in CRM that show pricing information and inventory information. In order to evaluate this option, the designer should go through all the design steps. A short summary of the important considerations needed for a price check feature is as follows:
