Configuring Power Automate to use the data gateway

Before you use Power Automate to access on-premises data, you'll need to configure a connection object inside the Power Automate interface. To configure connectivity, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Power Automate web portal (https://flow.microsoft.com) and sign in with an identity that has a Power Automate license assigned to it:
  1. In the navigation bar, expand Data and select Connections:
  1. Click + New connection or Create a connection:
  1. Select the type of resource you're connecting to that is located behind the gateway. In this instance, we're going to be working with SharePoint Server, so you'll want to select the SharePoint connection type:
