Scribus 1.3.5: Beginner's Guide
Inline frame is a frame that is put within the text of another frame so that it can be handled as a character. We often use it for bullets, logos that need to be in text, or icons in software documentation that need to be in the content to show the reader where to click. You can certainly imagine many other use cases but by doing this, you will understand how it works and you'll be able to use them in other contexts.
Inline frames and PDF export
Unfortunately, I have sometimes experienced some weaknesses in Scribus's inline frames when exporting them to PDF. It happens that they were exported empty and the content was lost. So a piece of advice would be to do a test when you've exported one or two before going on to the rest.
