Introduction to master data in SAP APO

Master data in SAP APO is a key element similar to master data in SAP ECC. To perform ATP checks in SAP APO, it is important that master data such as customer, product, and plant information is accurately set up. In most cases, ECC is the client of record and the master data is replicated from ECC to APO. In this section, we will explore these data elements in SAP APO and the mechanisms for replicating customer, plant, product, and resources from SAP ECC to SAP APO.
