Meta Tags and Footer


The Meta Tags and Footer screen can be selected by clicking on the System Admin | Preferences | Meta Tags and Footer. Some of the options for this module are briefly described as follows:

  • Meta keywords are the keywords that best describe the content of your website. These can then be used by search engines to locate your website when search-engine users type in words that they are searching for. Each keyword is separated by a comma or a space, e.g. technology, education, free.

  • Meta description can be used to provide a short description of your website. This can also be indexed by search engines for later searching by end users.

  • Meta Robots tells search engines how to index your site for later searching on their websites. Index, Follow allows a search engine to index everything that is linked from the main website-index file. No Index, No Follow tells a search engine not to index anything on this website.

  • Meta Rating can be used to indicate any age-level restrictions...
