Managing Users and Groups
Users who can access and use your website are basically of two types:
Anonymous
Registered
Until visitors identify themselves to your website by logging in, they are classified as anonymous. Once visitors are logged in, XOOPS treats them as registered users. Registered users can be given more permissions and privileges than anonymous users to access content on your website.
Users can also be given ranks to indicate how often they visit your website or contribute to posting messages on your website. We will discuss this more elaborately in the following sections.
User Registration
By default, anonymous users of our website xoopsbook.steveatwal.com will be able to register using the Register now! link on the bottom left of the main page.
