RSS feeds from your blog


WordPress sites generate RSS feeds for both content and comments. RSS feeds are a standardized method of presenting regularly updated lists of content for consumption elsewhere online. By implementing an RSS feed, you allow visitors to automatically receive links and teasers to your newest posts directly on their browser or other feed aggregation services.

Feeds have long been an established method of gaining a following, precisely because they make it easy for people to glance over a list of the latest headlines with summaries for a large number of sites without having to visit each and every website around. Many people use feed aggregation services to simply present a digest of all the latest content that they are interested in.

Feeds of your latest blog content can be located by adding /feed/ to the end of your blog's URL on WordPress.com blogs, or ?feed=rss on self-hosted blogs. If you add /feed/ (or ?feed=rss, depending on your blog's setup) after a post, WordPress...
