Data in material master WM views

For the material to be warehouse managed, you must maintain the warehouse management data in the material master. Without maintaining the warehouse data in the material master, materials cannot be stored in the storage bin of the warehouse management system.

The following screenshot shows the material masters of the Warehouse Mgmt 1 and Warehouse Mgmt 2 views. It shows General data and some Storage strategies wherein you can update these views per your business requirements:

The organization data within the warehouse management view is at the plant, warehouse number, and storage type level. Once you've maintained the warehouse org data, you can maintain the information around Unit of Measure (UoM) and storage strategies.
