In this chapter, we completed the construction of your course. We started by adding participants to the course, and we discussed the various roles participants can fulfill within your course: Students, Teachers, TAs, Designers, and Observers. Next, we discussed how to manage participants in your course and began to reorganize the appearance of your course by selecting which Navigation Links your students will see on the left-side menu. We discussed the various types of home page layouts available to you based on your needs, including the Recent Activity Dashboard, the Custom Content Page layout, the Course Modules, the Assignment List layout, and the Assignment List with Syllabus. Finally, we explored the Canvas Calendar, reviewing your course in the Student View mode, and learned how to Publish your course.
