Congratulations! You've made it through building your first Canvas course. Before we move on to publishing, it is always a good idea to start on the home page of your course and work your way through the entire course the same way a student would. Canvas has designed a Student View feature that allows you to see exactly what your course will look like to students. To access your course through Student View, complete the following steps:
Click on the Settings link on the left-side menu of your course.
On the settings page, click on the Student View button at the top of the right-side menu, as shown in the following screenshot:
From there, you will see your course home page in Student View. Notice the message at the bottom of your screen that lets you know You are currently logged into Student View.
While you are in Student View, you can view all of the areas of your course that your students are able to see. You can even view and submit assignments as a test...
