When you click on your newly created course (remember that it's listed under Courses on the top-left menu of the dashboard), you will be taken to the home page of your new course. By default, you will see the Next Steps checklist appear at the bottom of your screen with a number of options listed for setting up your course. This checklist is a guide that helps you make sure that all of the essential elements of your course are up and running before you publish the course and allow students to access the content. The Next Steps checklist is shown in the following screenshot:
If you hover your mouse over the options in the Next Steps checklist, you will notice that a description of each option appears on the right-hand side.
