We have seen that the TreePanel
and TabPanel
classes are quite versatile and powerful. They also share features common to their parent class, Panel
. We had an overview of some TreePanel features including, asynchronous tree node loading, and data binding using TreeStore and ColumnModel. We also had an overview of the TabPanel and looked at asynchronous tab loading, as well as other useful tab features.
The Ext.NET Examples Explorer is highly recommended to discover additional features, such as renaming a tree node inline by reusing editors (similar to what we saw for editing inside grid cells inline), enabling dragging/dropping nodes from one tree to another tree, grouping tabs, using tab strips, and more.
Up to now, all the chapters have introduced various features in Ext.NET. In the next chapter we will look at how you can create your own reusable custom components and incorporate some of those features.
