A brief coverage of different premium themes and layouts features


The PrimeFaces team planned to release premium themes and layouts on a periodic basis, which are created based on the latest web technologies. These themes and layouts are designed in such a way that they are compatible with both desktop and mobile platforms.

Let's list some of the common features observed in the preceding themes and layouts. In this section, we used Modena screenshots for demonstration purposes:

  • All the premium theme distributions provide menus as a multilevel menu positioned to the left of the screen. It is just like the PrimeFaces menu component, but it is optimized with the latest premium CSS features. This menu is responsive, and it adjusts according to the screen width automatically. Since this component is available in the theme JAR file, it is mandatory to have the theme in the class path. This menu is stateFUL by default.
