Using the Video Track to add sound and music to a video

The Video Track allows you to add one or more video files to a Song. You can then use Audio Tracks and Instrument Tracks to create dialogue, sound effects, and music for the video.

The Video Track provides a powerful and intuitive way to add perfectly synchronized audio to film, video, and other multimedia projects, even with limited experience in video post-production. To get started with the Video Track, we will first explore how to add video files to a Song.

Importing video files

To import a video file, simply drag it from File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) and drop it into your Song. MPEG and M4V files are supported on both operating systems; on Mac computers, it is possible to import QuickTime files as well.
