Chapter 4. Implementing VMware Horizon View Transfer Server

VMware Horizon View Transfer Server enables Virtual Desktops to be downloaded and run from a computer that is using the View Client with Local Mode option. Local Mode desktops provide a fully mobile Virtual Desktop, even when a network connection is not available. A Local Mode desktop shares many of the same features of a desktop hosted in the datacenter as well as a few additional ones, all of which will be discussed in this chapter.
