This feature enables a "pull-based" replication of MDM repositories in a read-only mode. Each repository copy (slave) can either be on the same MDM server as the original or on a different platform at a different location.
When the slave repository is created for the first time, it's nothing but a read-only duplicate of the master repository. Any change done in the master, after the slave creation, will not be reflected in its copy unless the slave sends a synchronization request to its master. This request updates the slave making it an up-to-date copy of the master.
