Summary

In this chapter, we provided more context to the challenges facing Spark4Life Ltd, but more importantly, discussed how to chart a course from a corporate strategy relating to top-line growth, bottom-line growth, and green-line growth.

We looked at how that corporate strategy translates to a business and technical strategy focusing on additional areas such as Customer First, Cloud First, Automation First, and Sustainability First, which provides additional value pools to focus on when determining the next transformation steps.

Finally, we mapped the transformation strategy to realization by looking at the value advisory, approach, and exponential technology.

As you proceed through the chapters, we hope that they will start to provide a clear view of the realization of the strategy of taking a corporate strategy and translating this into a business and technology transformation roadmap.

In the next chapter, we will explore RISE with SAP as a first step in the journey...
