In this chapter, we have discussed working with MDM repositories, tables, fields, and tuples. The topic Working with MDM repositories dealt with two ways of creating an MDM repository: creating a default repository and creating a repository from an archive. Then we moved on to see how to delete an MDM repository. Working with tables and fields discussed about the MDM table properties and explained how to add, edit, and delete tables from the MDM repository. After that we listed the field properties and explained the procedures to add, edit, and delete fields from MDM tables. Finally, we talked about Tuples which are the newly introduced field types in MDM 7.1. Working with tuples covered the topics related to adding and deleting tuples and their respective member fields.

In the next chapter, we will learn various repository administration techniques such as updating, verifying, backing up, and replicating the schema of the MDM repository.
