We started with a brief introduction of accessing multiple MDM server instances using the Console application as well accessing the same MDM server via multiple console instances. In the next section, we covered how to monitor the activities of an MDM server from within the Console user interface. After that we looked at ways to optimize the MDM performance by learning about import slice and import sleep time parameters. Then we moved on to logs, traces, and reports which are system-related messages displayed by MDM. Configuring the server and the repositories using MDS.ini was discussed in the next section. Finally, we understood how the backend DBMS settings can be configured using the MDM Console.
