Logging out a user

concrete5 also contains functionality to log users out of the system programmatically. In this recipe, we will log out the user who is currently logged in.

How to do it...

The steps for logging out a user are as follows:

Check if the user is logged in.
```
$loggedIn = User::isLoggedIn();
```
Load the logged-in user.
```
$user = new User();
```
Log out the user.
```
if ($loggedIn) {
  $user->logout();
}
```

How it works...

concrete5 deletes the current session, effectively logging the user out.
