Creating a photo gallery


The most popular feature for websites is a photo gallery. Photo galleries are popular parts of private portfolios, music bands', or company websites. On a business website, photo galleries are often used to display office buildings or photos of the team members. Products, samples, or results of the projects are often implemented as photo galleries as well.

If you are not using any special module for gallery, you could upload all images in one folder on your web hosting and manually add each image to the content page. This kind of static gallery is difficult to maintain and design. It is not flexible enough and requires deep HTML knowledge from the page editor.

A better solution is to use a special module that will read a folder on the web host and display all images from this folder using some impressive blending effects. The module will offer a special admin area where each image's caption can be entered.
