Learning the color adjustment effects


In the Color Adjustments section you will be able to carry out all of your color balance changes and conversions to black and white. There are three main sections here; we will start with the first, which covers the basic photo adjustments. At the top of the Color Adjustments section, you will see six filters to control the basics of your image. The first option you have here is Auto Enhance, will use an algorithm to make what edits the program thinks your image needs to be perfect. Like many automated things, sometimes this works and improves your images, while sometimes it can make your image look much worse. I am always a big believer in staying away from anything automated in photography; it won't always get your image to be perfect, plus you really don't learn anything when using automated methods.
