User accounts
Horizon Files uses two types of user accounts to allow users access their files.
Domain users
The obvious type of user account is the Domain account used by all internal employees to access the network and their workspace. This is just a user's standard AD account, username, and password. Horizon Workspace reads the user information from AD.
Virtual users
Specific to Horizon Files, a virtual user gets created when you share a folder with an external e-mail address. The person you invite will be sent a URL that directs them to a Horizon Workspace page where they can set up their own virtual user account by creating a password. Their username will be the e-mail address that you used to send the URL. They then have the same look and feel of Horizon Workspace as any other user but just containing the folders that you have shared with them.
