Chapter 4. Extending vCloud Air

In the previous chapter, Chapter 3, vCloud Air Networking and Security, we learned and explored a few simple and easy-to-use networking services provided by VMware vCloud Air. We also examined how to prove our instances in vCloud Air with networks and connect them with the outside world.

In this chapter, we'll dive a bit deeper into the networking arena by visiting the VPN service provided by vCloud Air. Besides this, we will also look at a few different ways in which you will be able to extend your on-premise VMware vSphere and/or VMware vCloud environments to vCloud Air using a tool called VMware vCloud Connector.
