Building the app

Alright, so now we know what our app should do, have a fair idea of what it should look like to enable the listed use cases, and know how we will structure and store the data to power the app.

If you have completed Chapter 11, Building a Shopping List App in Honeycode, you may notice that the first three views listed in the Translating requirements to app interactions section can be quickly generated through the App Wizard using a data source for listing contests as the main screen and with the Add a detail screen and Add a form screen options selected. Similarly, you can create three additional screens for nominations and then edit these generated screens to adapt some functionalities and delete the unwanted controls and screens. The only missing piece that you will not be able to generate with the wizard is the voting controls and the ability to separate the organizer's view of contests.
