Let's have a quick recap of the things that we have covered in this chapter so far.

First off, we looked at what exactly virtual machines, vApps, templates, and catalogs are. We then went through some simple ways by which you can create your very own virtual machines on the vCloud Air platform. We also learned some of the operational steps that can be performed on virtual machines, such as power operations, editing the virtual machine's properties using both the vCloud Air and the vCloud Director portal, and more. We also saw how to import readymade templates and vApps into our vCloud Air catalogs using the Solutions Exchange site. And last but not least, we learned about a few good practices and tips that one should always bear in mind when designing, building, and working with virtual machines.

In the next chapter, we will have a look at some of the networking concepts, options, and services provided by vCloud Air.
