Building Websites with Microsoft Content Management Server
The best known of all placeholders is the HtmlPlaceholder. It was built to store chunks of HTML formatted content.
You find the HtmlPlaceholder most commonly used in pages with unstructured content where images are mixed with text, or with text that requires formatting styles applied, and so on. It is also the only out-of-the box placeholder with the capability of storing chunks of HTML text, so it is not surprising to find the HtmlPlaceholder is one of the most common placeholders in MCMS-managed sites.
We will use the HtmlPlaceholder for the Plant's description. In order to add an HtmlPlaceholder to the Plant Template, we need to add the:
HtmlPlaceholderDefinition to the template gallery item
HtmlPlaceholderControl to the template file
Let's add an HtmlPlaceholderDefinition for the plant's description.
In the MCMS Template Explorer, right-click the Plant template object and select Check Out.
With the Template checked out, right-click on it again...

Change margin width
