Sending and receiving appreciation

The Praise app in Microsoft Teams can be used to send appreciation to your teammates. Organizations believe that recognizing and appreciating the efforts of employees encourages productivity and motivates their workforce. It also improves the organization's culture. The Praise app in Microsoft Teams provides badges as a symbol of appreciation, which can be sent directly to your teammates through a private chat or in a Teams channel:

  1. You can click on the Praise icon, just below the message textbox, as highlighted:

  2. This will open the Praise app with the default badges:

  3. Click on any of the badges that you would like to send to your teammates, and type your custom message (Note):

  4. Select Preview to review:

  5. Once done, click Send...
