Chapter 3: Exploring Moodle Courses, Users, and Roles
The objective of this chapter is to give you a quick rundown of the core concepts and features of Moodle that are available in all Moodle distributions, including Moodle Workplace.
The underlying foundation of Moodle is based on courses, users, and roles. The three concepts are inherently intertwined, and any one of these cannot be used without the other two. We will deal with the basics of the three core elements in this Moodle primer and show you how they work together. Let's see what they are:
