Should your SCRM be mobile?


The simple answer is yes. Having mobile access to your files, while important to everybody, will be particularly critical to your field sales staff regardless of whether or not they might travel outside of the immediate area. This access might be available via a mobile application from your vendor or from a third-party application from another supplier.

With regard to native applications, these may be offered on one or more of the following platforms. Do not assume that if it is available for one, it will be available for all.

  • iPhone

  • iPad

  • Android phone

  • Android tablet

  • Windows phone

  • BlackBerry

  • Windows tablet

You will want to make sure that your chosen SCRM is available for access from all of your devices as well as what capabilities each will provide. It is not reasonable to expect that everything that you can do from your desktop or laptop, you will also be able to do from a mobile device.
