Useful reports for Projects

Within the Project Reports area of a project, there are just three reports listed. These reports are handy as they are automatically filtered to report only against the project that is being viewed.

Before we look at any of the default reports, there are other reports that can be useful when using projects and can be searched for within the Reports Center. The search option is shown in Figure 6.30.

Here are a few extra reports that you can search for that may be helpful when using projects:

  • Estimates & Progress Invoicing Summary by Customer: This report displays a list of estimates raised and the percentage invoiced against each.
  • Estimates by Customer: This report displays a list of estimates raised, the status, who accepted the estimate and when, and the expiry date.
  • Income by Customer Summary: This report will display a summary of the income and expenditure recorded against all customers and projects.
