Introduction to SAP BusinessObjects WebI

WebI allows business users to dynamically create relevant data queries. By using this, you can apply filters to data which allows you to slice and dice, drill down, find exceptions, and create calculations in the data. It is very intuitive and helpful for ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Like most SAP applications, WebI uses a three-tier client-server architecture in which the functional process logic, data access, computer data storage, and user interface are developed and maintained as independent modules on separate platforms. It allows for different development teams to work on their own areas of expertise.
